Alexander Jansen

Alex is a founder of Jansen Coastal Properties Group. After attending American University in Washington D.C. with a concentration in International Business, Alex began his career as a Financial Advisor with Multi Financial Securities, a division of ING. His background in financial planning allows him to provide real estate clients with a unique perspective toward financing, affordability and investment quality -- something traditional agents can't provide. Pursuant to his financial planning career, Alex spent nearly a decade in the Internet software industry specializing in Web-based client service and communications for global investment firms. First, he was Vice President of Sales with LightPort Inc. and then Vice President of Global Sales with Correctnet Inc. Alex routinely negotiated multi-million-dollar software contracts with C-level executives of Fortune 500 companies such as Goldman Sachs, Fidelity Investments, TD Ameritrade, etc. That experience gives him a distinctive edge in negotiating effectively on behalf of his clients. Delivering solutions to some of the world's largest companies has taught Alex how to service the real estate arena with a focus on maximum worldwide exposure for his clients. Alex speaks German and French fluently and studied for 6 years in Switzerland, France and Germany. For Alex, real estate has always been a passion. He has been investing in Florida real estate since 1998, having built and renovated several waterfront homes, condos and estate homes. Alex turned his passion into a full-time career by becoming a licensed Realtor and founding Jansen Coastal Properties Group. Alex lives on the Gulf Coast in Ozona, FL with his wife and four children.

Laren Jansen

Laren is a founder of Jansen Coastal Properties Group. After receiving her degree in Marketing from American University in Washington, D.C. Laren began her career with Discovery Channel in the marketing and advertising sales departments. Upon Moving to Florida in 1998 Laren joined Sun Marketing to run their promotions management group overseeing marketing campaigns for national brands such as, US Bank, Glidden Paints, Northwest Airlines, and ADT Security. Laren has been putting her professional marketing skills to use for her real estate clients for many years. She is a multi-million dollar producer specializing in waterfront, relocation and second homes. For the cumulative year of 2008, Laren was ranked top 2 agent at Sand Key Realty with over $11 million in sales. She was also ranked Top 5 Buyers Agents in North Pinellas County of 3500+ agents! Laren is consistently rated in the Top 1% of agents in the region. Laren is a trained and certified Accredited Staging Professional Realtor as well as an educated and experienced short sale/foreclosure advisor and administrator. Laren lives on the Gulf Coast in Ozona, FL with her husband and four children.

Michael W. Jansen

Mike is the Managing Director, South Beaches. He was born in Cologne, Germany and was educated in both Europe and the United States, learning to speak English, German and French. A graduate of The American University in Washington, D.C., he earned his degree in finance in 1989. Mike began his career in the automotive manufacturing industry and then transitioned into financial services as Director of Marketing for LBS Capital Management and Southeast Regional Director for Lockwood Financial Services. Expanding his experience to include technologies applied in the financial services industry, Mike joined LightPort Inc. and then Corviant Corporation as Vice President of Sales. Both firms specialize in integrating Web-based communication platforms for financial firms, such as Goldman Sachs and Rockefeller. In 2003, Mike co-founded Lexington Family Office to provide strategic financial and investment advice to high-net-worth families. Over the years, while researching and selecting high-end real estate properties for his clients' investment portfolios, Mike developed a passion for the real estate industry which, ultimately, led to a full-time career as a licensed Realtor. With over 20 years in management, sales and investing, Mike's real estate clients know they can rely on him to look out for their best interests while negotiating and closing deals. As part of Jansen Coastal Properties Group, Mike utilizes marketing strategies designed to expose properties to buyers all over the world. He and his wife, Susan, his real estate partner, specialize in water front and luxury properties along the Florida Gulf Coast from Belleair to St. Pete Beach. They reside in Largo with their three sons and enjoy sailing, fishing, snow skiing and traveling.

Ken Rossi

Ken Rossi is Managing Director of Jansen Coastal Properties Group. He has been representing buyers and sellers of real estate in the Tampa Bay Area since 2001. Prior to his work with Jansen Coastal, Ken was a buyer specialist/lead buyer specialist in the area for five years from 2001 to 2006 for a team ranked among the top in the area. Since then he has had his own successful Real Estate Team based out of Palm Harbor, FL. As a resident of Pinellas County since 1981, Ken has longstanding connections with the families, communities, contractors and other real estate service professionals in the area. This level of experience is invaluable to his clients. And, over the years, it has helped him successfully negotiate hundreds of deals that would otherwise be considered against all odds. Ken offers clients almost a decade of expertise in everything from financing recommendations and negotiation strategies to coordinating communication with lenders, appraisers and title company representatives. He believes it is critical in this business to focus on the client's needs and goals first, whether it's a million dollar waterfront home or a complex short sale. With this approach, he closed 58 transactions in 2009, with nearly 90% of those being referrals from his previous clients, family, friends and colleagues. Ken lives in Tarpon Springs with his wife, Amy, and two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kendall.

Kevin Boyette

Kevin is a licensed realtor with Jansen Coastal Properties Group. Prior to his career in real estate, he was in the high-tech industry for more than 13 years developing secure Internet applications for financial services firms and negotiating related contracts with discerning CTOs and CFOs. In addition to his expertise in high-tech sales, development and management, Kevin has been an investor in real estate for a number of years. It was a natural progression for Kevin to ultimately bring together his professional background and his passion for real estate to become a full-time realtor. As the real estate market becomes more and more fast-paced, high-tech and Internet-driven, Kevin knows the importance of fully utilizing the power of online marketing and communication for his clients. His expertise is in using technology to help match buyers and sellers, bring worldwide exposure to properties, and efficiently negotiate win-win deals. Kevin is proud to be a multi-generational Floridian. He lives in Northwest Hillsborough County, where he focuses on properties in the surrounding communities, such as Westchase, Waterchase and more. He and his wife, Sheri, have three children. He enjoys the great Florida outdoors, fishing and water sports.

Jeanne Horne

Jeanne is a buyer specialist on the Jansen Coastal Properties group team. After attending St Petersburg College Jeanne went to work in the insurance industry representing companies such as: Met Life and Northwestern Mutual life as a group administrator. Subsequent to her insurance career Jeanne joined the airline industry to work for Air Canada. For the past 15 years Jeanne has had a successful career selling real estate for some of the largest names in the industry, Century 21 and Better Homes and Gardens Realty. For the last 10 years Jeanne has focused on assisting buyers with beach properties along the Pinellas gulf coast. Having been a Clearwater Beach Resident for the past 25 years gives Jeanne a unique perspective enabling her to assist clients to find the perfect property. Jeanne really listens to her buyers and works hard, using the latest online technologies, to keep them abreast of the market. She prides herself in knowing the current inventory intimately and getting her customers the perfect property for the best possible price. Brent Laugesen

Brent is a licensed realtor with Jansen Coastal Properties Group based in Clearwater, Florida. He is originally from Medina, Ohio, and served in the U.S. Air Force for six years as a Crew Chief on C-130 aircraft. After his military service, Brent became a manager in the commercial construction industry, and then he owned and operated his own remodeling company in Ohio. Brent's experience in the construction and housing industries ultimately led him to pursue a career in real estate. With a highly technical background like his, Brent knows residential and commercial properties from the inside out. He has an eye for detail and looks out for the best interests of his clients, whether they're considering buying a property or they're looking to market and sell their home. Specializing in high-end waterfront and luxury properties, Brent works with clients throughout Pinellas County and in surrounding communities. He is SFR and REO Certified with expertise in short sales and foreclosures, and real estate owned properties. Brent is married and has a son. He and his family enjoy the Florida outdoors, boating and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, and he likes to play golf.

Tony Russo

Tony Russo is a Realtor with Jansen Coastal Properties Group. Prior to his work in real estate, he owned and operated his own businesses for over a decade. Having successfully run a well-known restaurant in Clearwater, Fla. and a sales/vending business covering the Tampa Bay Region, he has a broad range of business experience in management, accounting, sales and marketing. Prior to that, Tony was a Production Manager for Aerosonic Corporation in Clearwater, overseeing the development of high-tech aviation instrumentation and equipment. As a resident of Florida's Gulf Coast since 1986 and a local business owner, Tony has first-hand knowledge of the region's marketplace and trends. With a passion for sales and service in his community, working with buyers and sellers as a Licensed Realtor is a natural fit. Tony and his wife, Maria, are currently living along the Pasco-Hillsborough County border. He focuses on properties in the surrounding communities, helping to expand the service area of Jansen Coastal Properties Group, Pinellas County's top realty team.

Johanna Walker

Johonna Walker is a realtor with Jansen Coastal Properties Group. A former New Yorker and successful sales person in the Manhattan area, Jo understands how important her swift response time and availability are to her clients. Understanding that trust is an integral part of her professional relationships, she strives to contribute positively to each client's situation. Jo's caring approach with her clients sets her apart in the real estate industry today. Jo currently resides in Clearwater Beach, Florida, where she specializes in waterfront and luxury properties. Lori Yaniscavitch

After attending Chattanooga State College with a major in Graphic Design, she began her career as a developer of sports games for Sports Illustrated and IBM. Following that, she was Art Director for Heil Trailer International, where she worked for seven years, and then specialized in Graphic Design and Marketing for Roadtec. After more than 20 years in product development, presentation and marketing, Lori found a career shift to real estate was a natural progression. In 2005, she became a licensed Realtor and joined Century 21 in Pinellas County, specializing in luxury and waterfront homes and condominiums. Applying her fresh approach, creativity and marketing expertise to each client scenario and transaction has made Lori stand out from her peers. She consistently has been recognized as the top producing agent in her office and ranked #10 in the region, selling more than $10 million in 2008.
